Sign grade acrylic is a thermoplastic material specifically crafted for the signage market. This specialty acrylic material masterfully blends lightweight characteristics with exceptional strength. Boasting a superior impact resistance that surpasses that of standard acrylic sheets, this material is perfectly suited for a diverse range of signage applications.

Advantages and Benefits of Sign Grade Acrylic

Providing superior impact resistance, along with the many other advantages of acrylic sheet, sign grade acrylic is a uniquely durable product and a top choice for the signage industry. Often referred to as impact-modified acrylic, this product provides a plethora of advantages:

    • Stronger than Standard Materials: 10x stronger than general acrylic and 30x stronger than double-strength window glass

    • Cost-Effectiveness: Lasts longer than general acrylic, thus reducing maintenance costs and replacement. More economical than polycarbonate.

    • Weather and UV Resistant: Stands up well in outdoor settings, and resists yellowing.

    • Easy Fabrication: Low risk of chipping and breakage during fabrication. Unlike polycarbonate, it  doesn’t require drying before thermoforming or fabrication.
